Before I begin, I should say that I am considered unremarkable.
Having the body tested, having testing done on the body, is an education in vocabulary, where words are juxtaposed in unexpected pairings, and also an education in syntax, where the passive voice is authority.
In the last two months, I have learned new words like paresthesia, and have gotten to consider familiar words in a new context, like void and background.
There is no evidence, according to the tests, that anything is happening in my brain.
